Software Maintenance Cover

Why is it needed

The Internet and online selling channels are continually changing. To keep working, any relevant changes must be incorporated into Packing Partner. This alone, is a full time job.

To ensure that everyone who relies on Packing Partner every day, can continue to be able to rely on it. Knowing that any problems will be resolved quickly and efficiently, usually within the same working day.

By continually developing and updating Packing Partner, we can respond quickly whenever a change or new feature is needed. Without the disruption and learning required by the more traditional method of releasing an upgrade.

What it covers

Keeping Packing Partner up to date with new features and facilities on selling sites. Improvements, extra features and updates to the software. The yearly maintenance cover ensures that you will always have reliable software.

When Packing Partner is affected by a change in a selling channel, you will be updated as soon as possible. A small change is usually fixed the same day that we know of it.

Larger changes to a selling channel can take a little longer to resolve. In the past it hasn't taken more than 48 hours to distribute an update for a major change to a selling channel.

It covers resetting of registration keys and re-issuing of site and add-on licences. Also, email and telephone support when a computer problem means that Packing Partner needs reinstalling or moving to another PC.

When it expires

Packing Partner will not be disabled after your maintenance cover expires. However, if you need any support, updates or maintenance you must purchase cover for the whole of the expired period.

Renewed cover will start when your last cover expires. You can purchase in advance or only when an update is needed. In the event that a site change forces  a mass update, priority will be given to users with valid cover.

The time remaining of your maintenance cover is shown on the Packing Partner status bar at the bottom of the window.
