I need to update a customers saved details that are stored in PP3 for when using the 'Find billing details' search as our emails are going to an old email and they want it updating?
I thought we used to able to do this, but can't find it!
You can change them by right clicking the record, but only if in collected or printed state.
I was hoping to be able to update or maybe even delete the saved data on this customer. They have requested twice now that I update their old email!
For some reason I thought this used to be possible?
The customer data is stored with the sales, so if you remove historic sales it will remove any data you have for them. You can do that from the Archive search view within the Records area.
If you want to retain the customer data but need it changing, you'd have to Resend and then edit it in Collected / Printed. You could then remove from there (Records>Remove) but leave it in the archive.
