If you have records that need special treatment, they can be removed from the processing flow, by putting them on hold. Records that are holding will not be visible in the normal flow, Collected, Printed etc.
Hold Records
To move records to holding, select the records, and click Records>Hold Selected from the toolbar, or right click menu.
If you need to separate records in holding, you can define your own sections. If you have defined your own sections, they will be available under the Hold Selected menu.

Release Records
Records can be released from holding by clicking Records>Release Selected from the main toolbar, or right click menu.
When records are released, the holding section is cleared and they return to the status they had before they were moved to holding.
Change Section
To change the holding section, change to the Holding view, and select the records. When viewing holding records, the Hold Selected menu option on the toolbar or right click menu, becomes Change Section.

You can see records that are on hold, from the Holding button on the left of the records tab. If you have defined your own sections, they will show with the name and number of records in that section, next to the Holding button.

All holding To view all records in holding, click the section menu again, or click the Holding button.

To add or remove holding section menus, click Edit Section Names on any of the holding section menus.

Name
Short name that will be displayed on the records view button
Description
Description of the section, viewed by hovering over the icon on the record.
Colour
Colour of the icon that represents the holding section
To view all records in holding, click the section menu again, or click the Holding button.
