Changing default printer

I have changed printer.
However, when I goto print from PP it keeps defaulting back to my old printer.
I know I can change it via the drop-down menu but I would like to set my new printer as the default.
I have assigned the new printer as default for Windows in Control Panel but PP still lists the old one first
How do I get PP to default to my new printer automatically?

Thanks for the post.

In the layout designer, open the layout and then change the printer it is associated with within there. Layouts are directly associated with printers (and paper selection) but when you print one from the records view, as you say, you can change the printer.
