cannot Despatch on Shopify

Hi, 

We can collect in Shopify, but for some reason it never despatches, it simply tells us nothing updated and I have to manually put the tracking and fulfil each order, which is a right pain in the butt.  I am sure it is something I have not pressed, but can you help?

I have been through this: and have checked they are all ticked, but there is obviously some other simple step that I am missing,

RachEnabling new access scopes for Shopify API updateTo continue collecting and despatching on Shopify, with Packing Partner's browser, please do this before 31st March 2023.

  1. Update Packing Partner to the latest version from here

  2. In Shopify (you will need admin permission for this)

  • In Shopify go to Settings and click Apps and sales channels

  • At the top of the page click Develop apps then Packing Partner Custom app

  • On the Configuration tab, click Edit and enable the following scopes:

  • write_assigned_fulfillment_orders,
    read_assigned_fulfillment_orders,
    write_customers,
    read_customers,
    write_fulfillments,
    read_fulfillments,
    write_inventory,
    read_inventory,
    read_locations,
    write_orders,
    write_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders,
    read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders,
    write_orders,
    read_orders,
    write_products,
    read_products,
    write_shipping,
    read_shipping,
    write_content,
    read_content,
    write_custom_fulfillment_services,
    read_custom_fulfillment_services

  • Click Save at the bottom of the page

You should then be able to collect and despatch sales on Shopify after 31st March 2023

Thanks for the post.

It may be the stock location setting. If the default has been changed, or another has been added, you sometimes need to specify the location ID number in the credentials.

To check this, go to Locations in Shopify, click on the active one, and then copy the ID number which if not shown can be copied from the web URL of that page (once you've clicked into it).

Paste that into the location field within Packing Partner credentials, and then attempt to despatch.
