Why upgrade Windows and Internet Explorer

The internet is ever evolving and most companies want to take advantage of new features that are available.
One of the biggest changes recently is a move to a new web standard called HTML5. This standard is not supported by older systems and browsers, so upgrades are necessary.
The features of HTML5 are built into Windows and Internet Explorer. To use these, you must have versions that support them.
A side effect of the newer features is that they don't work or cause issues on older versions.
