Packing Partner not responding or debug error
This is an issue caused by a Windows update on or after 31/12/2015. Windows reports any errors as coming from the application that has been launched, so even if the error is with Windows, it still reports it as coming from Packing Partner.
The solution is to uninstall the update that causes the issue and prevent it reinstalling. Thanks to iaing for posting this in another thread.
Uninstall the problem update and prevent it reinstalling
In Control Panel, go to Programs and Features>View Installed Updates
Find the system update KB3132372 and uninstall it.
BEFORE restarting your system go to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3073930
Download and run the windows hide update utility, choose to hide the following update:
Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 Fixed Version 1511 for x64-based Systems ( KB3132372 )
Restart your system which allows the system to update automatically, whilst preventing the update causing the problem from running.
