Is it correct that VAT inclusive amount is in the Subtotal?

Hi

Having now registered for VAT, I am seeing the VAT-inclusive amount in the Subtotal on invoices and in the record in Packing Partner. Is this expected?

I assumed it would be the VAT-exclusive amount in the Subtotal, with VAT shown underneath then the Total showing the VAT-inclusive amount.

Because most sites list including VAT, there can be rounding errors when working out the portion of VAT.

To be consistent across all sites, the amount shown has to be the VAT portion, otherwise things don't always add up.

So just to be clear is the Subtotal supposed to include or exclude VAT?

As the line beneath shows VAT then the Total below that it seems odd that the Subtotal includes VAT as well as the Total.

The subtotal includes VAT, The VAT shown is the amount.

Because most sites show Inclusive costs for items, It is impossible to do it any other way without introducing rounding errors.
