Settings Carrier, Service and Metrics
The carrier details dialog allows you to set all the properties that allow you to create efficient shipping labels.
The dialog is accessible from the Records Tab, from the main toolbar or right click menu Shipping>Amend Carrier Details.

Carrier

The carrier section is used to define the carrier and service that will be printed and updated on your sales channel, when orders are marked despatched.
Name

Only show Amazon carriers
If this checkbox is ticked, the carriers in the list below it, will only show carriers that are supported by Amazon or Amazon Shipping.
Name
Name of the carrier, can be chosen from the list or typed in.
Method
The shipping method used e.g. 24, 48
Parcels
Number of parcels in the consignment. Not all carriers support multi parcel consignments, please check with your carrier.
VAT Exempt
If checked, does not apply VAT to the carrier service. This is only valid for Royal Mail letter format, and for some accounts.

Generator

The generator and services used to ship the order and create the label. The service and options are different for each carrier.


Name
Name of the generator to use, options are None, Royal Mail (via Click & Drop), Other Carrier (one of the supported carriers listed in the Carrier list below)
Carrier
Select the carrier from the list of supported carriers.
Other fields
The other four fields will change depending on the carrier you chose and the options they offer.

Dimensions

The dimensions and weight for the selected shipments. If you are using Stored Metrics, you will be asked if you want to save them, once you click Save on the dialog.

Presets Menu

Allows you to save preset carrier settings that are selected in one click, from the main toolbar or right click menu under Shipping>Preset Menu, in the Records Tab.


Items
Items available to show on the presets menu. Selecting an item will set the carrier details to it's current settings.
Add
Add the current carrier settings as a preset
Update
Update the selected preset with the current carrier settings
