Order Processing Flow
The Records tab is where most of the work is done in Packing Partner. You are able to view, filter, create shipping labels, print and progress all your orders.

Record Views

Processing flow
Collected
The collected view shows all records that have not been processed. This is where you should set the carrier, print and resolve any issues.
Changes after printing
You can only make changes to records from this view. e.g. If after marking printed, carrier details need changing, use Records>Resend Selected to reset the status to Collected.
Printed
Printed view shows records that have had their invoice or delivery note printed. Orders will stay in this view until they can be marked shipped.
Mark printed manually
If you do not use invoices or delivery notes, you can mark records printed using Printing>Mark Records Printed.
If you are using the Picking App or Packing Station, records can optionally be sent to the Picking App and Packing Station, when they are mark printed. The setting is in Tools>Settings>Packing.
Picking
Shows records that have been sent to the Picking App for picking. If you need to update a note to the pickers, you can add a note from Packing>Note to packers.
Once picked, the status in the records tab will automatically change to Packing. Views that have been updated due to the order being picked or packed will show in Bold on the view menu.
Packing
Shows records that have been sent to the Packing Station for packing. If you need to update a note to the packers, you can add a note from Packing>Note to packers.
Once packed, the status in the records tab will automatically change to Shipped. Views that have been updated due to the order being picked or packed will show in Bold on the view menu.
Packed
Shows orders that have had a label created on the Packing Station. This view will not be visible if the option to Mark shipped when packed, is set in Tools>Packing.
Notes
Show records where a note has been added from the Picking App or Packing Station.
Issues
Shows records where an order cannot has been reported as not able to be picked. You can resend the order to the Picking App or Packing Station by using Packing>Resend to Packers.
Holding
Orders can be put on hold, which means they maintain their current status, but are not processed with others records in the same view. This is useful if you're for example, waiting for stock to arrive. When records are released from Holding, they resume the status they had. See: Holding Records.
Shipped
You can mark orders as shipped either manually from Shipping>Mark Shipped, or by setting Tools>Setting>Packing>Mark shipped when packed and creating a label in the Packing Station.
When records are marked shipped, they are added to a queue that will mark the order despatched on the sales channel.
If you collect sales from the browser, click Sales>Mark Sales Despatched on the Browser tab. If your sales are downloaded into the Express tab, they are marked despatched and marked Completed automatically.
Completed
Once the orders have been marked despatched on the sales channel, their status is changed to completed. This is the final status of processing orders.
Search
Shows the records that you have searched for using the Search toolbar. The search toolbar allows you to refine your search and to include current records if needed. See Searching Records.
