Processing OrdersCollecting & Despatching

Getting Orders from Sales Channels.
Orders can be collected into Packing Partner from the Browser Tab, Express Collect or file import.

Browser vs Express

Browser collect is a manual process, where you have to wait for the orders to be collected and despatched. Browser collect can work with all channels, not just ones requiring credentials.
Express is an automated service that makes processing orders a lot faster, especially if you are processing larger numbers of sales. Express collect can only work with channels that have access by credentials.

From the Browser Tab

Collecting
To collect from the browser tab, navigate to your order list page and tick the checkboxes for the orders to be collected and click Sales>Collect Sales Records from the toolbar.
Despatching
Once orders have been processed from the Records Tab and marked as shipped, you can click Sales>Mark Sales Despatched, to update their status, and add carrier and tracking details to the sales channel.
When the sales channel acknowledges that the order has been marked despatched, the order is marked Completed.
Credentials
Some channels can be collected just by being logged in, others require credentials to be entered into the Credentials dialog.

From Express Collect

Subscribe
Express collect is an add-on service that needs to have an additional subscription setup from the Account Tab. When Packing Partner is first installed you will have free one month of access to Express Collect.
Downloading
Orders on Express are collected into our cloud server, then automatically or manually downloaded into the Express Tab. From there, they are transferred into the Records Tab for processing.
Despatching
Once orders have been marked shipped, they are uploaded to the Express server by clicking Action>Upload Despatched, to be marked despatched on the sales channel.
When the sales channel acknowledges that they order has been marked shipped, they are updated in the Express Tab, and marked as Completed.

From File

Importing
In the Records Tab, click Records>Import From File, this will open the Import from file dialog, where you can map the columns from your import file, load and save templates to import easily import files later.
Despatching
To mark sales as despatched and once your orders are marked shipped you can go to Records>Export to File. to open the Export to file dialog where you can define an export a file that contains the carrier and tracking details that are required to update your channel.

Local orders

Creating
In the Orders Tab you can create orders from local or telephone sales. Products and customers that have been collected into the Records Tab, will be available to choose when creating local orders.
Once you have created the order, it can be transferred to the Records Tab to be processed along with all your orders from other channels.
