Combine & Split Orders
To save on shipping costs, Packing Partner can combine orders to the same address. You can also split sales into multiple shipments when required.

Combining Orders

Settings
Orders are automatically combined when the delivery address is the same. Settings control how orders are combined, they are found in Tools>Settings>Collect.

In the Records Tab, combined orders are shown with a count above the delivery address.

Uncombining Orders
You can uncombine and recombine records by right clicking on the record and selecting Uncombine or Recombine despatch. When you uncombine an order it reverts to the status it had, when it was combined.

Splitting Orders

Creating Split Despatch
To create a split despatch, right click any record in the Records Tab and select Split Despatch.
Splitting a record into parcels

Select the number of items from the top section to be assigned to each parcel, shown in the bottom section.
So you can assign parcels by value or weight, the display shows the remaining values. The save button is not enabled until all items have been assigned to a parcel.
Display and despatching
The original record is kept in the archive, Express Tab and Orders Tab, and show the split parcels under the items list.
Tracking numbers are shown on the main record and under each Parcel. When despatching on the sales channel, the last tracking number to be updated, will be used.
Unsplitting records
Records can be unsplit by right clicking a record, and selecting Unsplit Despatch. When you unsplit a record it reverts to the status it had, when it was split.
